Traveling with pets

You are always more than welcome to travel with your pets, whether you're traveling on foot or by car. When traveling with a pet, you are required to book a pet-friendly cabin. Our pet-friendly cabins are available both with and without sea views, depending on the ship. As we have a limited number of these cabins, we recommend booking your trip well in advance.

When traveling with a pet, an additional fee of 425 DKK per pet per way applies, on top of the cabin price. A maximum of two pets per cabin is allowed.

Currently, it is not possible to book a trip with a pet online if you are traveling on foot. In this case, please contact our customer service at +45 72 62 16 66 to make your booking.

Important: For safety reasons, pets are not allowed to remain in your car during the crossing. The car deck is locked and inaccessible during the crossing.

Practical Information

While onboard, pets must remain in the cabin during the crossing. Outdoor areas for pets are available on both ships and can be used freely. Pets are not allowed in public areas such as restaurants, bars, and cafés — except for service and guide dogs, which are permitted.

You must bring your own food and water bowls, as well as any entertainment or necessities for your pet. We recommend preparing these items before leaving the car deck, as the car deck will not be accessible during the crossing.
